The Diwei X-ring has a quad split opening design to provide twice as many sealing sections as the standard O-ring.
Due to the dual sealing effect, the smaller contact between the split surface and the workpiece, and the absence of pressure during installation, the X-ring can maintain a more efficient seal than the O-ring (O-ring). Less squeezing means less friction and wear, which will undoubtedly increase seal life and reduce maintenance costs.
Unlike ordinary O-ring (O-ring) die parting lines are designed on the sealing surface, X-RING die parting lines are located between the lips, so they do not touch the sealing surface.
When the O-ring (O-ring) cannot be used because of its shape, it is necessary to use this X-ring. The structure of the square opening makes the X-ring resist the torque between the workpiece (called the "spiral twist") and never roll over.
During installation, some lubricant can be applied to the inner and outer diameters of the X-ring to reduce friction and extend the sealing life.
The grooves of the O-RING also fit the X-ring, so there should be no problem for both the O-ring and the X-ring to be used in the same place.
